Portoroz (Slovenia) - On the nights of 22-23 August 2011, the Royal Thai Embassy, Vienna, which also  covers the Republic of Slovenia, in cooperation with the Life Class Hotels Group and Wai Tai Spa (Riviera Hotel Portoroz), organised the Thai Nights at the beach front area in front of Riviera Hotel Portoroz.  Fine Thai traditional cultural shows from Uttaradit Rajaphat University of Thailand, Thai foods and fruits and Thai beer are highlights of the event, which was presided over by Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of Thailand to Slovenia.  Also attended are distinguished guests and co-organisers of the event: President of the Primorska Region Tourist Board,  CEO of the Life Class Hotel group, Acting Consul General of Thailand in Ljubljana, Professors from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana, Managing Director of the Portoroz Marina.  Boonrawd Brewery Public Company sponsored Singha Beer for the event.  Mrs. Kathrin Jindra-Geizler, Vienna-based coordinator for the Tourism Authority of Thailand also contributed nice roll-up posters and information pamphlets about tourism in Thailand.   Around 400 guests attended the event during the 2 magnificent nights.

โปโตโรซ (สโลวีเนีย) -  เมื่อค่ำวันที่ 22 และ 23 สิงหาคม 2554 สถานเอกอัครราขทูต ณ​ กรุงเวียนนา ซึ่งดูแลรับผิดชอบประเทศสโลวีเนียด้วย ร่วมกับกลุ่มโรงแรมไลฟ์คลาสและไหว้ไททยสปา เมืองโปโตโรซ ได้จัดงานไทยไนท์บริเวณชายหาดเมืองโปโตโรซหน้าโรงแรมริเวียรา  สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ สนับสนุนการแสดงจากมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุตรดิตถ์ โดยมีนักแสดงและคณะจารย์เข้าร่วม 30 คน และได้สนับสนุนบริการอาหารไทยร่วมกับผู้จัด  การจัดงานในครั้งนี้มีประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยวจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ให้ความสนใจมาก มีผู้้ร่วม 2 คืนรวมประมาณ​ 400 คน  นอกจากนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ​ ยังได้เชิญแขกระดับสูงเข้าร่วมด้วย อาทิ ประธานการท่องเที่ยวแคว้นปริมอร์สกาของสโลวีเนีย ประธานกรรมการบริหารกลุ่มโรงแรมไลฟ์คลาส  ผู้รักษาการกงสุลใหญ่กิตติมศักดิ์ไทย ณ กรุงลูบลิยานา อาจารย์จากคณะอักษรศาสตร์ ภาควิชาเอเชียศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งกรุงลูบลิยานา  นางนงนุช เพ็ชรรัตน์​ เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสโววีเนีย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ​ กรุงเวียนนา ได้เป็นประธานในการเปิดงานดังกล่าว  งานสำเร็จลุล่วงไปได้ด้วยการสนับสนุนจากไหว้ไทยสปา บริษัทบุญรอดคอร์ปอเรชั่น อินเตอร์เนชันแนล สนับสนุนเบียร์สิงห์ โดยมีนายพันธจักร ว่องปรีชา ผู้จัดการภูมิภาคยุโรป เข้าร่วม และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานประสานงานกรุงเวียนนา สนับสนุนโปสเตอร์ และเอกสารประชาสัมพันธ์ประเทศไทย ที่สำคัญ มีการทำอาหารไทยด้วยความประณีต และแสดงการสลักผลไม้จากพนักงานครัวจากทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และพ่อครัวไทยโรงแรมริเวียร่า และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้นำเข้าผลไม้ไทยโดยตรงจากประเทศไทยเพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ชิมด้วย

Vienna (Austria) : On 5 September 2011 at the Thai Residence, Mrs. Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador of Thailand to Austria, Slovakia and Slovenia, hosted a reception in honour of H.E. Mr. Pravit Chaimongkol, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, who led a delegation of Thai Businesspersons and officials in the programme of the logistics, forestry and renewable energy business networking enhancement in Austria, Slonenia and Croatia.  The delegation will have opportunities to visit different governmental agenices and private companies in their field of interest.  Logistics and ports visit are in the Adriatic and Balkan regions are also included in the programme of this 1 week visit.  

กรุงเวียนนา (ออสเตรีย) : เมื่อวันที่ 5 กันยายน 2554 ที่ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ นางนงนุช เพ็ชรรัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวียนนา ซึ่งปฏิบัติหน้าที่เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำประเทศสโลวาเกีย และสโลวีเนีย ด้วย ได้ต้อนรับและเลี้ยงรับรองแก่นายประวิตร ชัยมงคล รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และคณะนักธุรกิจและเจ้าหน้าที่ เดินทางมาเยือนออสเตรีย สโลวีเนีย และโครเอเชีย ในโครงการเสริมสร้างการติดต่อเจรจาทางธุรกิจในสาขาการขนส่ง (โดยเฉพาะการขนส่งทางเรือ) ป่าไม้ และพลังงานทดแทน  ในงานเลี้ยงรับรองดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตนงนุชฯ ได้เชิญนักธุรกิจชั้นนำจากออสเตรีย ซึ่งทำธุรกิจอยู่กับนักธุรกิจไทย ผู้แทนกระทรวงการต่างประเทศออสเตรีย ผู้แทนหอการค้าออสเตรีย และนักวิชาการที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วมงานดังกล่าวด้วย โครงการนี้เป็นโครงการของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ซึ่งผนวกกับโครงการของสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงเวียนนา  ซึ่งสังกัดกระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นการบูรณาการการดำเนินโครงการในลักษณะทีมประเทศไทย

Vienna (Austria) - On 21 September 2011 at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna International Center, Ambassador Nongnuth Phetcharatana, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the IAEA presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition " Experiencing Thai Paleowater", a side-event in the margin of the 55th General Conference of the IAEA.  With assistance of the IAEA, which is an international organisation specialised in promoting the peaceful use of nuclear energy and technology for a betterment of life of human beings, Thailand use the isotope technology in the water management, especially in the assessment of and planning for water resources with the objective to help increasing the efficiency of resource use.  Several underground water sources were found in using a nuclear technology which ease the life of the people in some part of Thailand where ground level water is rare.  Guests, mainly from the diplomatic corps and national delegates to the IAEA General Conference, were served with ground water (20,000 years old -hence "paleowater") from the real underground water source Thailand, and some Thai succulent foods.   This exhibition was jointly organised by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Thailand, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology, the Department of Groundwater Resources and the Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute of Thailand.

กรุงเวียนนา (ออสเตรีย) - เมื่อวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2554 สำนักใหญ่ทบวงการพลังงานปรมาณูระหว่างประเทศ หรือ IAEA นางนงนุช เพ็ชรรัตน์ เอกอัครราชทูต และผู้แทนถาวรแห่งประเทศไทยประจำทบวงการพลังงานปรมาณูระหว่างประเทศ ได้เป็นประธานในการเปิดนิทรรศการ  "ประสบการณ์ใหม่ น้ำดึกดำบรรพ์จากประเทศไทย" ซึ่งัดขึ้นระหว่างช่วงการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปี ของ IAEA สมัยที่ 55  ด้วยความร่วมมือจาก IAEA ประเทศไทยได้ใช้เทคโนโลยีนิวเคลียร์ในการช่วยพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชนใน เรื่องการจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำ การนำเทคโนโลยีนิวเคลียร์มาใช้ในการหาแหล่งน้ำบาดาลก็เป็นเทคโนโลยีหนึ่งที่ ได้นำมาใช้  งานนิทรรศการนี้ได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงการใช้ประโยชน์จากนิวเคลียร์ในทางสันติรูป แบบหนึ่ง โดยได้เชิญแขกเป็นคณะทูตานุทูตและผู้แทนจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ที่เข้าร่วมประชุม IAEA โดยกรมน้ำบาดาลได้จัดตัวอย่างน่้ำบาดาลที่มีอายุประมาณ 20,000 ปีมาให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ทดลองดื่ม  และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้จัดอาหารไทยสำหรับงานเลี้ยงรับรอง  และมีแหนมฉายรังสีซึ่งเป็นการใช้ประโยชน์จากเทคโนโลยีนิวเคลียร์อีกแบบหนึ่ง ในการถนอมอาหารให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้ชิมด้วย
